Spinal Alignment--All Through The Feet! by Jada

One of the most amazing benefits to getting Zone Balance Therapy, personally, has been physical alignment of the spine. It is one effect of the zone that I experience on a regular basis.

One morning, about seven years ago, I rolled over in my bed with full intent to get up and get going for the day. Instead, I felt the most sickly pop in my neck.  It left me stuck, in my bed, completely unable to move to the left or right.  Luckily, my cell phone was on my pillow to call my husband home for help.

I spent two months in physical therapy to regain movement in my neck and spine. However, I never felt like I had fully recovered. I always had lingering pain in my neck and back from that day.

Fast forward two years…

I experienced the same injury, but this time was worse! I couldn’t move without severe pain shooting through my entire body. My parents and husband came to my rescue, but this time they were certain I would need help they could not give me. I begged them to just force my body off the bed. My left arm was curled and crippled up to my shoulder. I couldn’t stand without assistance and walking was excruciating.

I convinced Bryan, my mom, and dad that I needed a zone. Bryan called our zoner, even though he and my dad stood by skeptically. When our zoner arrived, I sat on a hard Kitchen chair, while she worked on my sensitive feet.

By the time she was done, I could stand up tall and straight. My body was tender from the trauma it had just experienced, but I could move and walk without assistance.

In a matter of only two weeks and two zones, I was back to normal…better than normal! I was completely shocked that my body had bounced back so quickly without forceful manipulation of my neck or spine. But, my spine had been aligned and my body, brought back into balance all through my feet.

Moving Forward... by Jac

I'm a firm believer that emotions are the origin of 99.9% of physical problems. And supposedly, injuries and/or dysfunction having to do with the legs, knees, feet or hips have to do with emotions regarding moving forward in life.

I have been known to be stubborn, inflexible, resistant to change, and unable to flow freely with life. Interesting that a good chunk of my past injuries and physical issues have fallen into the "knees, feet, hips" category...

In my last post, "Battered Up", I mentioned that last summer was the first time I survived a softball season without injury. (It's quite ridiculous, really.) I've always been described as "hard-core", but I think "accident prone" was probably a better description.

Before the start of last season, I resolved to leave injuries in the past. I was working full-time as a graphic designer, going to massage therapy school at least 25 hours per week, studying in my sparse spare time, and somehow managing to squeeze in several early morning runs each week.

I was also struggling with an exceptionally tight hamstring that caused a lot of difficulty with running, walking and sitting. My running buddy thought I should stop working out for a while and give it time to heal. I refused. All the different kinds of massage therapy I'd been receiving at school several times per week didn't touch it, which confirmed one thing: the source of the problem definitely stemmed from an emotional root.

I had to figure this out. I was determined that softball was going to be my outlet, not my downfall. I quested for knowledge and soon discovered that I had some serious resistance to moving forward in life.

Through the zone (combined with other emotional release techniques), the fears that were holding me back and inviting injuries and dysfunction were released. My hamstring quickly loosened up and I was good to go! I continued getting zoned (sometimes even zoning myself) as often as possible to help prevent new emotions from building up inside my body. And that is how I accomplished my injury-free feat last season.

What is holding you back? Enter our GIVEAWAY for a chance to win a wonderful opportunity to move forward in your life!

PANIC ATTACK!!!! Aaaarrggghhh! By Jeri

If you have ever suffered a full blown panic attack you hope and pray it will never happen again. It is frightening when you suddenly feel overwhelming anxiety and fear, your chest tightens and you feel you can’t breath. I found relief through Foot Zone Balance Therapy. Yes, you read it right… blessed relief!

After my youngest son, Cameron, was born I began experiencing panic attacks. I had no idea what they were, only that they were really scary and I felt like I was going crazy! Heck, I was crazy! Over the years they seemed to subside a bit and I learned to live with them. Fast forward 20 years.

A little over 3 years ago I was asked to sing a solo for a Relief Society Program at church. I grew up singing in a quartet with my sisters and was never afraid to sing. However, the night before the program a dress rehearsal was scheduled. As I stood at the microphone and the introduction to the song was being played, I found myself terrified and unable to breath, I could not catch my breath, my lungs felt like they had quit functioning, my heart was pounding out of my chest and I could hear the loud thump, thump of it beating in my ears. I felt crazy, shaky and dizzy. I wanted to run, but all I could do was stand there. I tried to sing, but the only sound that came out was breathy gasping sounds. All eyes were on me. It was a creepy experience.

I needed quick relief, yet was very opposed to prescription drugs because of previous experience. The night of the performance I inhaled LeTranquility Essential Oil from Butterfly Express and practiced deep breathing exercises. I was worried about a repeat of the night before. The oil kept a full blown panic attack at bay, but I needed help. I found that help in the form of Foot Zone Balance Therapy.

The zone was able to access all the systems in my body, create a healing environment and balance. It brought peacefulness and calm into my life and gave me a desire to take charge of my health. Thankfully, I no longer suffer from debilitating panic attacks. If fear creeps in I recognize it as an imbalance in my body and realize another zone is needed to achieve homeostasis to bring peace back into my life. I LOVE the zone!

The Zone and Pregnancy by Jada

Maybe it’s because I have five children that I get asked often about Zone Balance Therapy and pregnancy.  I can say that my last two babies were “zoning” babies from conception to labor and with #5, even during labor and right after delivery.

Foot Zone Balance Therapy is great for bringing the body into a state of homeostasis, or balance, which includes your hormones. The Reproductive System is one of the many areas of the body that the Zone proves to be incredible.

Here are some common pregnancy complaints that I personally have experienced and reaped amazing benefits from being zoned:

1. Fertility—I had trouble getting pregnant with 2 out of my 5 children and had to go on fertility treatments. After baby #3 came four years after #2, I was sure I was done having babies. I couldn’t possibly go through all of the nasty side effects of the fertility drugs and put my family through that again. About 9 months before baby #4 came along, I received my first Zone! My zoner could feel and clear blockages in my ovaries and Fallopian tubes. From my experience and many others, Zone Balance Therapy is known to increase fertility.

2. Morning Sickness—I have been blessed that I have not experienced horrible morning sickness. [I threw up only once with each of my pregnancies.] But, I have definitely experienced the wooziness in the morning and throughout the daytime when I have had an empty stomach and the feelings that absolutely NOTHING sounds good to eat or that I HAVE to have chocolate or an ARBY’s Roast Beef Sandwich with curly fries. [Which sounds really disgusting now, btw!] During my fifth pregnancy, I was lucky enough to get zoned weekly. The morning sickness was very minimal compared to the previous four. My cravings were much more controlled and I didn’t give in as easily.

3. I Am SO TIRED!—Exhaustion is something that just comes with being pregnant, right? However, being Zoned increased my energy levels to the point that I could function in the ways that I needed to [like selling my house, packing up to move to an apartment while we built a larger home so our fifth baby wouldn’t have to sleep in a drawer].

4. Sciatic Nerve Issues/Back Pain—In each of my first three pregnancies, I spent more time on my Chiropractor’s table than I did in my OB’s office. My back was always going out and my growing belly was putting constant pressure on my sciatic nerve causing great pains shooting from my hips all the way down to my toes. With my fourth and fifth pregnancies, Zone Balance Therapy brought my body into balance. Physically my back was stronger and stayed in alignment longer. The sciatic nerve pain was managed very well getting regular zones during both pregnancies, so much so that I rarely felt sciatic pain.

5. Pelvic Pain and Pressure—During my fourth pregnancy, I got to about the sixth month and felt as if I had to pick up my right leg to move it out of bed, in and out of the car, and physically, move it forward if I stood in one place long enough. Oh, the waddling!!! It was excruciating at times. My pregnancy hormones were doing a fine job of separating my pubic bone and my pelvic girdle in preparation for birth, but this was too soon! Zone Balance Therapy was able to realign my pelvic girdle and keep things nice and tight until it was time to loosen things up again for labor.

6. Mood Swings/Emotional Release—My poor family knows that when I am pregnant to stay clear of mom! Let’s just say, I ask for forgiveness often… But, when I am getting zoned regularly, (regardless of pregnancy or not) I get an ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT.  Everything seems right in the world after a zone… just ask my husband! The things that stress me out aren’t as stressful. Believe it or not, my surroundings even become brighter. The woes of pregnancy just don’t seem as bad after a zone and that is a great reason to be happy and all around pleasant.

7. Labor Induction—Now this is a BIG one. So, I will start out with this DISCLAIMER, if you will…

ZONE BALANCE THERAPY will NOT put you into labor UNLESS your body is READY to be in labor.  However, the Zone will help your body PREPARE for labor. If you go into PRETERM labor, the zone MAY help STOP the body from going into PRETERM labor. But, as ALWAYS consult your doctor as I am NOT a doctor :)

On that note… Here is my experience with labor induction and the zone:  With baby #4, I tell people that the zone “got me pregnant” and the zone got me “un-pregnant”.  I started having very strong regular contractions at 35 weeks with my son.  That day, I had been to the doctor and that day he told me that I was at a point that they wouldn’t stop labor if anything were to happen.  Well, it did, and he stopped me!  They gave me a little tiny pill that brought all contractions to a halt after laboring in the exam room for 3 hours with no progress.  I was so FRUSTRATED and I don’t think I had ever been so angry in my life!  For two more weeks, I didn’t feel a single contraction.  I went to my regular appointment and saw a different doctor, the one who had delivered my two previous babies.  He took pity on me and stripped my membranes, which sent me into labor quickly with my first three babies.  However, this time was different…still no contractions!  I called my zoner.  She worked on my feet and I started contracting again right there on her couch! My baby boy was born 6 hours later.

8. The Zone During Labor and After Birth—My mom zoned me weekly from the beginning to the end of my fifth pregnancy. She was there with Bryan and me at the hospital with her essential oils, ready for whatever I would need. Since this was my first time going into labor without any medical assistance [ie. stripped membranes] and my first natural childbirth, things were progressing slowly, more so than in my past experiences [which was truly fine with me]. She zoned my cervix [on my feet!] to help it stretch and soften. She worked on my pelvic girdle to help things spread so the baby could drop further into the birth canal for a safe passageway out. If the zone wasn’t good for anything else, [which it was] just the act of putting oils on my feet and loving and caring touch was enough to help alleviate the stresses of labor. It was a beautiful experience from beginning to end. When my beautiful baby girl was born and the placenta was delivered, my mom zoned me again this time working on my pelvic girdle to encourage structural alignment to put things back into place. This act, along with the use of Millenia, a Butterfly Express essential oil, brought my body back into alignment quickly. Even though this was my fifth time delivering a baby, I had never healed so quickly or gotten back into my pre-pregnancy jeans so fast! I also didn’t bleed as heavy and as long during my post-partum recovery.

To sum it all up, Zone Balance Therapy is great for all aspects of pregnancy from conception to delivery and beyond. If you or someone you know would benefit from the Zone for an increase in fertility, relief from common pregnancy issues, and emotional release before labor, contact us!  You and your developing, growing baby both will benefit greatly.

*Unless you have been getting zoned regularly, it is not recommended to get Zoned during the first trimester of pregnancy.

*Please note we do not make any claims about the many benefits Zone Balance Therapy has to offer.  These are my personal experiences with Zone Balance Therapy during my pregnancy. ~ Jada

Battered Up!! by Jac

One of the fantastic benefits of Zone Balance Therapy is accelerated healing
time and recovery from injuries. (Remember to check out our GIVEAWAY for the opportunity to win 3 free zones, valued at $120.)

If you know me very well, you've probably often seen me with some sort of a limp or other type of gimpyness from one of my random softball, soccer, or basketball injuries. Or perhaps you might remember my intense sleeping skills putting me in a neck brace for several weeks that one time or two…

Go Cardiac Kids!!!
What can I say? I'm lucky :) You should know, however, that I did make it through the 2011 softball season without one injury. And that, my friends, is a blessed miracle! We even won the championship that year!!

I think I'm one of the few who can say I've had the exact same injury twice. Let me explain:

It was the summer of 2008. I'd just recovered from a wrist injury (sliding into third base) that had taken me out for 5 weeks. It was my first game back with the Cardiac Kids, the last game of the season, and the top of the last inning. The score was tied. This team was tough. They were ginormous polynesians—even the girls, one of which was up to bat.

I squatted down near my beloved first base, ready for the play. Kinjo's pitch was perfect, she swung, the bat cracked loudly. Suddenly, my knee buckled, immediately following a THWACK! and excruciating pain.

Wow… That hurt! My backup fielded the ball in attempt to recover, but the batter made it safe on the base. I refused to leave the field, gladly received some ice that I quickly bandaged to my knee, and took solace in playing catcher where I could get away with mostly standing still. The rest of the game was a blur… until it was my turn to bat.

Bottom of the ninth, 2 outs. Great. Grrr… I took the first pitch and slaughtered that ball. It was my best and deepest hit of the season. I just stood there and watched. Center field made an impressive run and an incredible dive. OUT!!!

Besides the fact that I'd just cinched a loss for my team, I was relieved that I didn't have to make a run for the base. I limped off the field and drove home fuming mad. My roommate convinced me that I needed to go to InstaCare before they closed for the night. All that idiot doctor said was, "That is the coolest injury I've ever seen." He was right. How could bloody baseball seams imprinted into your knee not be freakishly awesome!?

Later, my football coach uncle told me he thought I had bone contusions and that it would be a good couple months before I would heal. He was more than right. I could hardly handle walking short distances for a good month. It was two months before I could make it all the way around the block. And three months before I was ok to start running again. Torture.

Moving on to 2009. It was the last game of the season, top of the last inning. The score was tied. This team was tough. Batter up!

I squatted down near my beloved first base, ready for the play. The pitch was perfect, the batter swung, and the bat cracked loudly. Suddenly, my knee buckled, immediately following a THWACK! and excruciating pain.

Wow… That hurt! My backup fielded the ball in attempt to recover, but the batter made it safe on the base. I refused to leave the field and stuck with my position.

I limped off the field and drove home laughing at this ridiculously deja-vu-ish situation. Seriously!? Freakishly awesome bloody baseball seams imprinted into my knee again!? Hahaha!

This time I didn't waste my time with InstaCare. Instead, I put essential oils on my feet and knee. And then I zoned myself. I only knew the first area at this point, but thankfully, area one included the knee signal. I repeated this process as often as possible—probably 2 or 3 times per week. Two weeks later, I was fully recovered and running my usual 4 miles in the morning.

I believe that everything happens for a reason, and the only explanation I can figure for why the Lord would bestow me with the exact same injury twice, is to bless me with an opportunity to truly know of the incredible healing power of the zone! And for that, I am grateful.

Keyboards, Computers and Feet... by Jeri

If you have seen Enso:Intrinsically Awaken’s blog GIVEAWAY, you may be wondering what in the world is Foot Zone Balance Therapy! 3½ years ago I was wondering the same thing. Here is a little analogy that may help you understand: Imagine your feet as the keyboard to your body’s computer. Now, I don’t know a lot about computers, but I do know that when I type on my keyboard the message and symbols appear on the computer screen. I am able to access many different programs, which are right at my fingertips. I find e-mail, folders from years past and can search for whatever I want in the world. I have no idea whatsoever how it happens, but it does!

Through the keyboard of the feet we are able to access the amazing computer of the body and its many different programs or systems and organs. Sometimes my computer gets a virus or it crashes! There are times when my body has done the same thing! Like the computer, the body is an electrical instrument and has energy moving through it at all times. If you briefly pull the plug on your home PC it stops working because the energy source was messed with, but if you plug it back in it will start up again. Similarly, when the body’s energy source is out of whack it no longer functions at its optimum level. As we access the body through the feet, it is our intent to clear out the junk, repair some programs, update others and do a virus scan!

The body is an amazing instrument and it knows what it needs to heal and to reprogram. It does not make mistakes, but it will do whatever it takes to survive. If you are noticing aches and pains your body is trying to get your attention.

For the last couple of weeks I experienced some hip pain, which got progressively worse until I could not sleep because the pain was so intense. Yesterday afternoon I finally slowed down enough to have a “zone”. Jaclyn was able to access my body’s computer systems, reprogram and put everything into balance, which created a healing environment. As soon as the zone was over the pain was gone and I was able to enjoy a wonderful nights rest.

In today’s world our bodies are subject to toxins, stress, emotions, injury, viruses, etc. and many people want to reclaim their health in a natural, safe and holistic way. Using the feet as the keyboard to the body’s computer system is a wonderful, relaxing way to discover your health. I LOVE the “zone”.

The Best Part of Waking Up is Green Smoothie in Your Cup… by Jac

You already know I'm fascinated by pH, alkalinity and real foods. The best way to consume more alkaline foods is to drink them. Green smoothies are quick and delicious. In fact, if you ever ask me what my favorite food is, I'll tell you it's a green smoothie. Drinking them seriously makes me deliriously happy. Am I weird? Don't answer that…

Our beloved Green Smoothie Girl has a wealth of knowledge available on her website, including The Biggest Green Smoothie Recipe Collection. Yum!! Her readers contributed their very best recipes for this book. Then an army of Green Smoothie Girls and Guys tested and proved them.

Green Smoothie Girl says that according to her research in The Green Smoothies Diet, "more than 95% of regular green smoothie drinkers experience a noticeable positive effect on their health or quality of life. 84% are so enthusiastic about the green-smoothie habit that they teach it to others! And top health benefits include more energy (85%), better digestion (80%), fewer cravings for sweets and junk food (65%), more positive, stable mood (54%), prettier skin (50%), and weight loss (50%)."

If you haven't yet, check out her website at greensmoothiegirl.com. Green smoothies are the good life.

Mission Possible...by Jada

March was a very eventful month at our house. The first week and a half was spent shopping and getting ready for the trip of a lifetime. Not with my husband, Bryan…But, with my best friend growing up and through college, Cami.

We traveled, just the two of us, to gorgeous San Juan, Puerto Rico, where the weather is literally a perfect 72 to 82 degrees. And that is the high and the low! We ate breakfast on the deck of our sweet no-frills hotel, where the waves of the blue-green ocean lapped up right under our feet.

The people of Puerto Rico were beautiful and everyone we met seemed to bend over backwards to accommodate our stay. I felt as if we were on a tour of people…they were that great!

I was nervous traveling away from home. It was my first time away from Bryan and my kids, who he took very great care of. They probably needed a break from me, as much as I from them.

Don’t get me wrong, we all love each other very much…BUT, I knew that my break away would make me a better wife, a better mother, a better person and hopefully, my family would benefit the same.

Little did I know how much I would need my 6-day retreat. I came home missing Bryan and my kids like crazy. I was ready for a vacation from my vacation and ready to be mom and wife again. Not only did I need to catch up on some much needed sleep, but I just wanted to snuggle my kids. The first few days home, I was glad my 21-month old baby girl wanted to snuggle me too.

Baby girl had a low-grade fever and didn’t feel well at all. I figured she must be teething and missing her mama. I held her and kissed her warm little cheeks held her some more for two days. By the third day home, the fever broke, but so did something else… Baby was soaking through her diapers, refused to eat hardly anything, but couldn’t get enough to drink. She was so frustrated, trying to tell us something that I couldn’t understand. No one could.

This went on for two more days before Bryan and I woke up in the middle of the night to Baby Girl’s cry. Again, she woke up soaking wet and inconsolable. It dawned on us at the same time, but Bryan spoke it. “I wonder if we should check her blood.”

Our family has a strong genetic disposition for Diabetes, both Type 1 and Type 2. We knew that was probably the case with our little one, but refused to believe it until later in the day when we finally did check her blood sugar. The monitor read, HIGH…twice.

We rushed to the ER. No one needed to tell us that our suspicions were right on, but it was confirmed. We spent the rest of the weekend in the pediatric wing of the hospital.

According to most doctors, Type 1 diabetes is incurable, a life-sentence of blood monitoring, finger pokes, and insulin injections. Our Endocrinologist not so gently informed us that our five children are at a risk so great to get either Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes, that there is no escape.  “It is not a matter of IF they will get Diabetes, but a matter of WHEN. You’re just going to have to accept that. We live and eat in America. By the year 2020, 2/3 of all Americans will be diabetic.”

What if someone told you that you didn’t have a chance, there was no hope for you and your medical diagnosis is for life? What would you do?

As I see it, there are three things we can do:
1–Roll over and wait for death to come knocking.
2–Accept fate and live life, waiting for a cure.
3–Turn to a Higher Power for inspiration. Seek for healing.

Many times we dismiss the fact that we can be healed when given the opportunity. Yes, you read that right…OPPORTUNITY!

Just in my family, my mom, dad, husband, myself, and now my baby have all been given life sentences by our doctors. And because of our medical history, each of my other four children have been included.

I don’t buy it!  We live in a world full of negativity, hopelessness, and despair. We are told about all the things we CANNOT do and placed inside an invisible box to hold us back.

I know that have a loving Father in Heaven who loves us and wants us to have joy.  He sent His son, Jesus Christ, who suffered all that we might live again.  All things are possible through Him…even healing the incurable.

Surround yourself with people who love you. Build a team of professionals, healers, family and friends who will support you. Then, have the faith to make your mission impossible possible.

Answers are out there. Miracles are everywhere; we just have to open our eyes to see them. “Ask and it shall be given unto you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you.”

pHat pH... by Jac

Alkaline foods are the phattest, most excellent foods for the body. Most people don't understand the alkaline diet (or way of life) or how it works. In fact, some people have never even heard of it. Lucky for all of us, the concept is really quite simple.

In this day and age, it's easy to eat foods that are high in sugar, fat, and cholesterol. No matter how you try, these foods will never provide you with the proper nutrition your body needs to maintain homeostasis, or balance.

Eating an alkaline diet takes us back. It focuses in on fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy whole grains, wholesome protein sources such as soy, beans and legumes, and healthy oils such as canola, olive and flax seed.

These foods may be either alkaline or acid in their natural state, but they all produce an "alkaline ash" once digested and metabolized by the body. When the body's pH is kept at a slightly alkaline level, all the systems can work more efficiently.

The pH level of the body has the ability to affect every single cell of the body. When the blood has an alkaline pH, it will have a positive effect on the brain, circulatory system, nerves, muscles, respiratory system, digestive system, and reproductive system.

When the pH level is too acidic, it causes our bodies to be susceptible to many diseases and problems: weight gain, heart disease, premature aging, fatigue, nerve issues, allergies, muscle disease and cancer. Since all these problems are more likely to occur when the body is too acidic, it makes sense to eat a diet rich in alkalizing foods. The goal is to eat about 75–80 percent alkaline foods and 20–25 percent acidifying  foods. And don't worry, it's much easier than it sounds.

Most fresh fruits and vegetables are excellent choices. Red meat, not so much. But you can add plenty of protein to your meals using soy products, delicious beans, legumes, and nuts such as almonds. You should eliminate unhealthy fats from your diet, but you can use good fats such as olive, canola, and flax seed oil.

High fat dairy products should be avoided, but you can drink soy milk and goat's milk. Cheeses made from soy milk and goats milk would also be good choices. Replace the empty calories of soda with delicious herbal tea or lemon water.

Substitute pasta with healthy whole grains such as wild rice, millet and quinoa. When sweetening your foods, use natural products such as raw sugar, Stevia and maple sugar.

Regenerating the Body: Where to Begin... by Jeri

On December 7, 2008, my life and the lives of my family changed forever as my dear husband, Charlie, of 35 years, lay in ICU at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in an induced coma and on life support. We were granted a miracle and 6 weeks later brought him home. Even though he survived the hospital ordeal, it was frightening at times because he was so unhealthy and neither one of us could imagine a long future together.

For Charlie, a life of eating junk foods processed foods and drinking Diet Pepsi like an alcoholic had taken its toll. He was in so much pain that he walked like a little old decrepit man. When his surgeon told him, “frankly Mr. Taylor, there isn’t another doctor in this community that will ever want to touch you again,” we knew we were in trouble and felt desperate. This is when we turned to “alternative” forms of healing. Our daughter, Jada, had become a family herbalist due to some health problems of her own and she started teaching me about beneficial herbs and raw foods. I was very open to this because I was raised on them.

We started eating as many raw or frozen fruits and vegetables as possible (8 to 10 servings a day), grains, legumes, raw nuts, no dairy, very little meat maybe once a week or less), and no processed foods, no white bread, no sugar, and no sweeteners with aspartame (which includes many diet sweeteners). We love at least 16 ounces of green smoothie for breakfast, a nice big salad for lunch, packed with all kinds of vegetables, nuts or seeds and homemade salad dressing. For dinner we eat our starchy vegetables, like potatoes or squash, or legumes. When reaching for a snack we will grab some fruit or nuts.

At first it sounded hard and I didn’t know how I would survive without meat 2 or 3 times a day. However, I recognized these things as truth and knew a change was necessary so that Charlie could really LIVE and not just exist. I also knew that in order for Charlie to be successful, it would be necessary that I participate fully and eat the same foods. This has actually been incredibly easy.

A lifestyle change in eating habits is the easiest path to regeneration. The body can and does regenerate when given the proper foods.
